About

Jack Scott

Jack Scott started his journey in the Wine Trade by stacking shelves and delivering wine in his school holidays back in the late 1970s.
In 1982, Jack then went on to work in the vineyards and wineries of Beaujolais, Provence and Margaux in Bordeaux.

He returned to the UK to run The Vintners Wine Shop in Victoria between 1983 and 1985 before joining Corney & Barrow where he ran the Central City Sales Office between 1985 and 1988 then returned to France again on a different mission before coming back to London to establish Jascots Wine Merchants.

Testimonials

Having performed over 600 of his legendary International Wine Championships and Gastronomic Dinners since creating their unique formats in the early 1990s, Jack has now established “Jack’s World of Wine” so that he can continue to entertain his friends and clients, many of whom have co-hosted annual events with him for over 10 years and two for over 20 years.

Jack hopes to continue to engage with and entertain old and new friends and spread the joy of wine and wine tasting in his inimitably hilarious, informative, light-hearted and occasionally irreverent style of presentation for many years to come.
